RMHC and the Medical Community

In order to improve the health and well-being of children coming to the Temple area for medical care, RMHC Temple relies on strong partnerships with the medical community – relationships that have been nurtured and have grown since 1986. Because of this, we can address health care needs for children and families through our Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room that support families while their children are being cared for in our local medical facilities.

Our medical community helps RMHC Temple in a variety of ways:

  • They are actively engaged as members of the RMHC Temple Board of Trustees.
  • They provide space within Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Hospital for our Ronald McDonald Family Room.
  • They assist with operating costs and donation of in-kind services.
  • They volunteer their time and services with House programs.

It’s this kind of critical support that allows us to expand our program capacity and together, we are helping to change children’s lives around the world.

Make a Difference for Families & Children

Parents don’t know when their children will need medical help. But they should know they can always access the care they need. And with your help, we can support them all throughout their journey.
